Job Description
As Head Chef and Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen, both operationally and managerially, with the mission to offer quality culinary services adapted to your clientele. Leading your team, you will participate in the production of more than 220 meals per day, while coordinating hot and cold deliveries to partner institutions for an additional volume of around 160 meals daily. A true manager of your unit, you will be responsible for organising teams, planning activities, managing purchases, stocks, costs and the budget. You will also ensure the development of a balanced, attractive and seasonal catering offer, while guaranteeing compliance with hygiene, food safety and quality standards. Finally, you will maintain trusting relationships with various internal partners and actively contribute to the smooth running of the establishment.
Profile sought
With recognised training in cooking, you have a solid background that has allowed you to hold the position of Head Chef for at least five years within a high-volume catering environment. Proven experience in collective catering is essential. Curious and creative, you master current culinary techniques and are capable of offering international, balanced and attractive cuisine, likely to satisfy both teenagers and teaching staff as well as management. You have a thorough understanding of the constraints related to collective catering, notably the organisation of hot and cold meal services, as well as HACCP standards and current regulatory requirements. A rigorous and organised manager, you are recognised for your management skills, your ability to optimise resources and your sense of responsibility. With excellent interpersonal skills and a unifying leadership style, you know how to support your teams daily while developing quality professional relationships with your various contacts.
