Position: Investment Banking Analyst/Associate

Location: Munich, Germany

Fluent German Speaker Required

A leading Boutique European investment bank in Munich is looking to add Analysts and Associates to its growing team, focusing on M&A advisory for mid-market clients specializing in growth sectors, including technology, healthcare, and energy transition. This role provides hands-on experience in executing high-profile transactions, working alongside seasoned professionals, and gaining deep exposure to private equity and corporate finance deals within the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on potential transactions.
• Assist in structuring and executing M&A and capital-raising deals.
• Prepare investment presentations, pitch books, and other transaction materials.
• Conduct industry research to identify new opportunities and support deal origination.
• Work closely with senior bankers, clients, and investors throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in investment banking, Big Four, M&A, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Native or fluent German speaker with strong English proficiency.
