Position Overview
Senior UX/UI Designer to join our Vienna UX/UI team, focusing on SaaS product design, accessibility, AI integration, and design system maintenance. Your Mission
UX Design: Enhance the user experience for our SaaS product, focusing on usability and accessibility. UI Design: Design user interfaces consistent with our company's visual language and style. Design Library: Develop and maintain the design system for consistency and efficiency, including keeping it connected to code (e.g., via Figma Code Connect) for a tight design-to-development handoff. AI-Augmented Workflow: Use modern AI-assisted design tooling (e.g., Figma Make, AI design assistants, MCP-based design-to-code workflows) to prototype faster and spend more time on high-value design decisions. Designing for AI: Shape intuitive, trustworthy experiences for AI-powered features, including conversational and agentic flows, generative interfaces, and human-in-the-loop interactions. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to implement cohesive design solutions. Feedback & Iteration: Incorporate user feedback and testing results to iteratively enhance the product experience. Research & Innovation: Keep abreast of the latest design trends and technological advancements, including AI in design and product, to foster user-centered improvements. Experience: 5+ years in UX/UI design for web products or SaaS. Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in UX/UI principles and visually engaging designs. Technical Skills: Strong, proven proficiency in Figma is required; familiarity with other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD) is a plus. AI Fluency: Comfortable integrating AI into your design workflow. Hands‑on experience with tools such as Figma Make, Code Connect, or MCP-based design-to-code workflows is a strong plus, as is experience designing AI‑powered product features. Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively present and justify design decisions. Analytical Thinking: Strong problem‑solving skills with a creative approach to complex issues. Team Player: Proven experience in driving design projects and collaborating effectively within a team. Development Skills: Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue is a plus. Language: Proficiency in English and German is required. Location & Compensation
Location: Vienna, Austria – this is a hybrid role with on‑site but also flexibility for remote days. Contract type: Full‑time, permanent. Salary: Classified under the Austrian IT Collective Agreement (ST1).
