UniCredit Bank GmbH is continuously extending its Data Science and AI activities. The Digital and Intelligence Office plays a crucial role both in terms of managing the underlying data as well as providing analytical capabilities to the business and control functions of the bank.

Das erwartet Dich bei uns

For this position we are looking for a Trainee Data Scientist (f/m/d) with experience in Artificial Intelligence applications and the practical application of building Data Science use cases.

You will be involved in the development and maintenance of machine learning models to support automation of critical business processes and applications. With your technical and personal competence, you will join a team responsible for the building of data products for the bank utilizing our big data platform.

You also match with the following requirements:

1. You are in the final stages of your Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or similar with very good/excellent academic performance, or have completed your studies within the last 2 years.
2. PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or similar is a plus.
3. Practical Programming experience e.g. Python or similar and knowledge of the SDLC is a requirement.
4. Practical experience in data science / data analytics / Gen AI is a plus.
5. Experience in working with Cloud based platforms e.g. MS Azure is an advantage.
6. Goal-oriented, structured and independent way of working.
7. High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure as well as a convincing and confident manner.
8. Ability to adapt to a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
9. Ability to work in a team.
10. Ability to work in English & German, Italian is a plus.
