We do research on industrial formal methods, weak memory model and concurrency, parallelization, and the full systems stack from hardware over operating system to web/rendering engines.
Join us as a Senior/Principal Software Developer - Web Technologies and Rendering (m/f/d)Your mission Help us design, develop, and productization the next generation web engine for mobile and PC scenarios by supporting us in one or more of the following areas: Architectural, algorithmic, and local optimizations of engine code, such as compiler, layout, or interpreter; Development and evaluation of high-quality prototypes for the next generation web engine; Development and application of tools based on formal methods to improve the stability and ensure the timely productization of innovative optimizations.
Your areas of expertise BSc/Master or Ph D in Computer Science or other related disciplines; Profound knowledge of at least one of: Rust or C++; Basic knowledge in concurrency and parallelism; Familiarity with web technologies (implementations of Servo, v8, or related technologies, or web standards lawyering) or compiler technologies is a plus; Familiarity with formal methods is a plus; Experience with systems-level programming a plus; Passion for software quality and performance, and openness to learn from failure; Fluent in written and spoken English.
