A driving role that goes far beyond the road.
At Hubert Etter, a family business active for nearly 70 years in French-speaking Switzerland, the Super Vacuum department works on varied and sometimes complex sites, using one of the region's few super vacuum trucks. You drive this specialised vehicle to the site, then operate it on location and manage your own small team.
It is a technical, concrete and useful role, where you actually drive quite little: most of the work is done on site, once you have arrived at the site. We provide full training – even if you have never worked with this type of vehicle before. What matters most: your motivation and your autonomy.
Your daily routine
- Sites in French-speaking Switzerland that change almost daily, so it’s varied! - Considerable autonomy in organising your team and your work. - You prepare and check your vehicle, then vacuum and discharge various materials. - Hours that follow the progress of the site rather than a fixed schedule – in return, the company shows the same flexibility towards you. - A human-sized team, where communication is direct and many employees have been loyal to the company for over 20 years.
Your profile
- Valid heavy goods vehicle licence (category C). - Experience in driving trucks. - Autonomous, able to handle unforeseen events and manage a small team on site. - Comfortable with physical and dirty work. - Meticulous, punctual, responsible. - Good command of French, both spoken and written.
What we offer
- A technical and varied role. You do not just drive: you also operate machinery on concrete sites. - Specialised and well-maintained equipment. You work with modern vehicles, suitable equipment and a responsive in-house workshop. - Constantly changing assignments. Sites, industrial locations, difficult access, green roofs: the interventions are very varied. Our drivers unanimously agree, you never get bored. - A stable and fair environment. You benefit from attractive conditions and clear rules. What our drivers particularly appreciate: reasonable site deadlines, allowing careful rather than rushed work. - A strong team. You join a family business where mutual support, knowledge transfer and quality work really matter. The entire Hubert Etter team is recognised for its expertise and quality of service. - Concrete benefits. Workwear provided and maintained by the company, internal training, team events, department celebrations, anniversaries and year-end attentions.
Interested?Send us your CV and a few words about your background, no cover letter needed, we look forward to meeting you! We respond to all applications.
