With nearly 1,500 employees, the Rehabilitation and Geriatrics Department is a medical centre focused on the elderly, spread across 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour (Stern) and Joli-Mont.
It manages acute situations, notably through the geriatric emergency services and the intermediate care at the Trois-Chênes Hospital, acute units some of which focus on geriatric syndromes, geriatric rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, cardiac, neurological and oncological rehabilitation units, and long-stay units. It also includes a specialised palliative care service, a community geriatrics unit, a liaison geriatrics unit and the Memory Centre.
The position in question concerns the Internal Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of Beau-Séjour, which accommodates people requiring acute general internal medicine care (36 beds) as well as those needing internal medicine rehabilitation and specialised cardiac rehabilitation beds (52 beds), involving multidisciplinary teams, particularly following an acute care stay.
Chief Clinical Officer with or without a specialty title within the Internal Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of Beau-Séjour, Rehabilitation and Geriatrics Department - 100%
As a chief clinical officer, with or without a specialty title, you ensure the quality of medical services in the care units within your area of expertise.
You coordinate practical activities as well as diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for the patients entrusted to you, in close collaboration with the assistant doctors.
Working in a stimulating university environment, within an interdisciplinary team, you also contribute to the training of junior doctors.
You participate in clinical research activities and, according to your personal interest, you begin a quality or clinical research project with specific supervision.
Qualifications
You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
You have or are close to obtaining the FMH specialty title in general internal medicine.
If you hold an FMH specialty title, you must have a practising licence for the canton of Geneva.
For non-French-speaking candidates, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
You are a person with good communication skills in an interdisciplinary team and with patients, dynamic, flexible and committed.
