The Human Resources Department has the primary mission of ensuring the development of the institution's human capital in view of organisational evolution. The HR policy of the HUG is based on the development of skills and career paths in line with institutional needs and focuses on consideration of the individual, work-life balance, and health and safety at work.
The HUG nurseries consist of two sites with gardens, one located on the Belle-Idée estate in Chêne-Bourg and the other near the Cantonal Hospital, as well as a drop-in nursery primarily intended for patients and outpatients at the maternity ward.
The HUG nurseries are company nurseries reserved for the children of employees.
Early Childhood Educator - 80%
As an early childhood educator, you provide care and activities for children aged 4 months to 5 years, applying the educational approach defined in the institutional project of the HUG nurseries. You ensure an individualised service according to the needs and requirements of the child.
You participate in the development and implementation of the project inspired by the work of Emmi Pikler and guarantee the safety of the children by constantly creating an environment conducive to their development and well-being. To do this, you work collaboratively as part of a team with a child-centred approach.
Qualifications
You hold a diploma as an early childhood educator ES issued by ESEDE or an equivalent diploma recognised by SASAJ allowing you to work in a nursery in the canton of Geneva.
You have proven professional experience.

Assignments are across our 3 sites: the Magnolias nursery (Belle-Idée), the Kangaroos (Cluse-Roseraie), and the drop-in nursery depending on needs.
Variable hours may be subject to change for internal replacements within the service.
