The Crans-Montana Clinic, nestled in the heart of the Valais Alps, is a hospital site of the HUG. Its hospital missions consist of caring for patients for rehabilitation in general internal medicine and psychosomatics, polyvalent post-operative or post-acute hospitalisation rehabilitation. The Crans-Montana Clinic holds FMH recognition for general internal medicine and trains internal medicine doctors. It develops academic research projects in connection with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva.
Psychologist specialised in psychotherapy - Crans-Montana - 80%
As part of your role, you assess the psychological functioning of patients and manage their difficulties. You develop appropriate care plans, create intervention and prevention activities, thus contributing to proactive care.
In your activities, you work interdisciplinarily with medical and nursing teams, medical-therapeutic staff, and actively participate in interdisciplinary rehabilitation conferences.
In collaboration with your psychologist colleagues, you organise therapies and the allocation of units to cover.
You supervise psychologists in postgraduate psychotherapy training, initiate and collaborate on teaching and research activities related to the Clinic’s interests.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in psychology, a federal psychotherapist title, and a practice licence from the canton of Valais (or, failing that, are in the final stages of psychotherapy training and have at least 1 year of practical experience in an ISFM-recognised psychiatric and psychotherapeutic institution).
With 6 years of practical experience, you have an interest in psychosomatic hospital rehabilitation and wish to contribute to the development of the Psychology Service.
You are capable of working independently and in a multidisciplinary team. Thanks to your solid experience in group leadership, you can design relevant interventions and effectively share your knowledge and skills with other psychologists and professional partners.
