EU Visiting Researcher / Research Fellow (m/f/d) in the field of Theoretical Optics & Photonicswith expected full- time employment - non-tariff compensation (third-party funding limited until 30.09.2029)

Your responsibilities :
- scientific research services in the field of theoretical physics
- modelling light-matter interactions in nano-photonic systems
- collaboration with the research groups of the MSCA Doctoral Network QUEST
- completed scientific university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in physics or a closely related field, preferably with an above-average grade
- in-depth knowledge of and a strong interest in theoretical physics
- proven mathematical skills and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C++, Python, Julia)
- in-depth knowledge of the theory of light-matter interaction is desirable
- excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with active participation in network meetings, training schools, and outreach activities
- willingness to undertake research stays (secondments) of at least three months each at Sorbonne Paris Nord University (FR) and the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (IT)
- maximum of 12 months of residence or main activity in Germany within the last 36 months prior to recruitment (MSCA mobility rule)
- fluency in English, both written and spoken (at least B2)
