PhD Position (m/f/x) in the field of molecular genetics with expected 65 %part-time employment – E 13 TV-L HU (third-party funding limited until 30.06.2028)

Aufgaben

• scientific services in research in the DFG project ,,Chloroplast Ribonucleoprotein CP29A – adjusting chloroplast RNA pools during cold acclimation responses\“
• analysis of chloroplast RNA-binding proteins and phase-separated compartments using molecular biology, cell biology, biochemical, and microscopy techniques
• publication of the results in specialist journals and at conferences
• opportunity for own scientific Qualification (doctorate)

Profil

• completed scientific university degree in biology, biochemistry or related fields
• basic knowledge of molecular biology
• knowledge in the field of RNA biology and/or molecular plant sciences is desirable
• ability to work in a team and high motivation
