We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Head of HR for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the market, and a proven track record in team motivation and retail/hospitality experience. This role requires a visionary leader capable of transforming our organizational culture to align with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with Hunkemöller\’s overall business strategy.
- Lead and manage the HR team across the DACH region, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and development.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive organizational change and development.
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage employee relations and address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Reporting to the CHRO + dotted line to Managing Director of DACH.
- Being part of a Global HR team, where you drive initiatives & implement “out of the box” thinking.
- Improve the admin processes and ways of working.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master\’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of the DACH market and its unique challenges and opportunities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cultural transformation initiatives.
- Forward-thinking mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in German and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
