About the Company:

A well-capitalised and rapidly expanding renewable energy platform headquartered in Germany, backed by long-term institutional investors. The company is developing a multi-GW portfolio, primarily focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the development strategy of a leading clean energy company in the region.

The Role:

• Define and implement the company\’s development strategy across Germany, aligned with investment and growth objectives.
• Negotiate with institutional investors, landowners, regulators, and strategic partners to facilitate development and secure assets.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle, from opportunity identification through permitting, financing, construction readiness, to operational handover.
• Lead and mentor senior development teams at the country level, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Coordinate with executive leadership to ensure alignment between development, technology, operations, and finance.

The Candidate:

• Over 8 years of senior experience in renewable energy project development, with proven expertise in BESS, solar PV, and/or onshore wind projects.
• Strong leadership skills in managing portfolios and engaging with investors, government agencies, and grid operators.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and C-level engagement skills.
