Electrotechnical Engineer

Electrotechnical Engineer – Solar PV Systems – Mainz

About the Role: You will oversee the electrical execution and certification of commercial and industrial solar PV projects, working from design through to commissioning. Your focus will be on ensuring all electrical components meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare single-line diagrams and specifications for LV/MV systems.
• Select and size electrical components (transformers, cables, switchgear, protection).
• Support site execution with technical clarifications and safety reviews.
• Assist in commissioning and certification documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with suppliers or site teams.

Your Profile

• Qualified Electrotechnical Engineer or Master Electrician (Elektromeister).
• Experience in LV/MV solar PV systems and plant certification.
• Practical experience with EPlan or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of protection, measurement, and control systems.
