Head of Bids – Solar

About the Company:
Our client is a leading solar manufacturer providing high-performance PV solutions for utility-scale and commercial projects. They turned over €700 million last year, and due to growth within the company and investment they require a Head of Bids to lead a team of 18 working with the Sales Director and reporting to the General Manager for Europe.
The Role:
- Work alongside the sales team to ensure bid profitability and strategic alignment.
- Develop and implement structures and processes to optimize bid success across Europe.
- Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle.
- Oversee pricing, risk assessment, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and adapt strategies to market trends.
About You:
- Proven bid management experience in renewable energy or solar.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in structuring profitable bids.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Knowledge of EPC contracts is a plus.
