Job Title: Head of Project Management – HVDC C&P
Location: Nuremburg, Germany (Hybrid)
Overview: As the Head of Project Management for HVDC Control & Protection, you will oversee a team of Project Managers. Your role will involve managing the planning, bidding, and implementation of technical solutions for HVDC Projects within the rapidly growing global HVDC market.
Responsibilities:
- Help our customers navigate by addressing global challenges and creating solutions that deliver real-world impacts.
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 20 HVDC Control & Protection Project Managers, overseeing resource planning and supporting their professional growth and development.
- Continuously improve project management skills and methodologies.
- Collaborate with our international hubs and partners.
- Guide project teams to meet objectives related to on-time delivery, high quality, customer satisfaction, and budget compliance.
- Define and enforce consistent requirements management throughout both the proposal phase and project execution.
What you bring:
- A university degree in electrical and electronic engineering or in a comparable relevant field.
- Experience with Control & Protection systems for EPC contracts is preferred, but not required.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in project management is essential.
- Proficient in English (oral and written) is essential, with German being a plus (not a requirement).
- Strong leadership qualities, excellent teamwork, initiative, and a customer-focused orientation.
- Sharp analytical skills for comprehending customer requirements and identifying opportunities for added value.
