You will be responsible for originating, structuring, and negotiating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and aggregation contracts. You’ll play a key role in securing long-term, commercially viable agreements that support the growth of the company’s renewable energy portfolio. This includes building and managing relationships with off-takers, asset owners, and key market stakeholders.

The Role
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead the directing marketing and modelling for PPA opportunities with industry leaders and small to medium sized companies.
- Develop, manage and maintain a strong pipeline of new and existing PPA opportunities and aggregation partnerships across multiple projects and markets.
- Take the lead in the origination, analysis, structure, commercial negotiation, and closing of complex/long-term offtake agreements.
- Develop a network of contacts and actively represent the company in PPA aggregation offers.
- Actively manage market, operational, and financial risk across the offtake portfolio, ensuring that risks are quantified and mitigated.
- Provide commercial support to leadership and project development teams and ensure best commercial terms are achieved in line with company’s PPA standards.
- Contribute to the development of tools and methodologies to improve the accuracy of price forecasts and financial analysis of projects.
- Keep up to date on trends and regulatory changes in the renewable energy sector and electricity markets to improve projections and analysis.
ABOUT YOU
What will set you apart is you are a unique, innovative, creative and solution focused individual.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience in electricity markets: retail, trading, renewable industry, or origination role ideally with exposure to PPAs and aggregation .
- Direct marketing and sales experience with a solid understanding of the German renewable landscape.
- Solid stakeholder management and deal leadership skills, ability to lead and work actively with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen and commercial drive, ability to oversee multiple different projects and tasks simultaneously while ensuring efficient, timely and clear communication.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of renewable energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Innovative and creative when forecasting future energy solutions for stakeholders with an ability to think 'outside of the box'.
- Fluent in German & English
