Lead – PV Planning | Solar PV & BESS | Germany
Are you an experienced PV Planner or Electrical Engineer looking for the opportunity to build and lead a technical planning department from the ground up within a fast-growing renewable energy developer?
The Company:
An ambitious renewable energy developer specialising in utility-scale Solar PV and Agri-PV projects across Germany. With a rapidly expanding project pipeline and significant investment in its in-house EPC capabilities, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth, creating a unique opportunity to establish and shape its technical planning function.
The Role:
Seeking an ambitious Senior PV Planner / Team Lead to take ownership of the company's electrical planning function, establish processes and build a team as the business grows.
- Establish and develop the PV planning department from the ground up.
- Take ownership of DC/AC electrical planning for utility-scale Solar PV projects.
- Oversee cable routing, electrical layouts, grid connection planning and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with grid operators, certification bodies and EPC/construction teams.
- Develop technical processes, planning standards and internal workflows.
- Build and lead a team of planners and engineers as the project portfolio expands.
- Support future Solar PV, Agri-PV and potentially BESS projects.
The Person:
- Experience in electrical or technical planning of Solar PV projects.
- Strong understanding of DC/AC design, grid connections and VDE requirements.
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related technical discipline.
- Fluent German/English
