The Opportunity
The company is seeking an EPC Director to lead the construction and delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects, including co-located sites. You will oversee contractors, project teams and delivery performance through construction, commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of solar, BESS and co-located projects across a portfolio of sites.
- Manage EPC contractors, suppliers and other delivery partners.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, quality, safety and project risks.
- Coordinate the interfaces between solar generation, battery storage and grid infrastructure.
- Support procurement, contract negotiations and commercial decisions.
- Work closely with development, grid, engineering and operations teams.
- Report on progress and resolve issues affecting project delivery.
- Help build the company’s internal construction and delivery capability.
About You
- Significant experience delivering utility-scale solar, BESS or other energy infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing EPC contracts and complex construction programmes.
- Understanding of the technical and delivery interfaces on co-located projects.
- Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading project teams and external contractors.
- German and English language skills are advantageous.
