Senior HVDC Commissioning Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior HVDC Commissioning Engineer to lead the Control & Protection (C&P) software scope across major HVDC projects. The role covers design validation, factory testing, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning activities, ensuring successful integration and operation of HVDC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead C&P software commissioning for large‑scale HVDC projects.
• Coordinate with design, testing, and field teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Oversee FAT, SAT, and pre‑commissioning activities.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers within the C&P software team.
• Interface with clients, OEM teams, and project stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in HVDC C&P software commissioning.
• Strong understanding of SCADA, RTU, protection relays, and HMI systems.
• Proven track record on major HVDC projects (onshore/offshore).
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
