This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO) , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.
HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. HII advances the mission around the globe.
What You Will Do
- Read and analyze designs and blueprints, recognize the architect’s intended use, and analyze designs and structural complexities intended to mask an ulterior purpose not wanted by the architect.
- Become knowledgeable of ICD-705 security procedures and the level of security required in various parts of each facility under construction or renovation.
- Communicate and write detailed reports and analyses of problems, findings, and security situations which require staff actions.
- Possess a high degree of individual initiative, have independent decision-making, and function with minimal supervision.
- Maintain detailed daily notes during tour of duty to be submitted to the Contractor’s Team Leader who will review them for accuracy and present them to the site security manager for review.
What We Are Looking For
- 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Master’s in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in construction security surveillance, technical surveillance countermeasures, or industrial security, including construction quality assurance or hands-on supervisory construction.
- 2+ years of experience providing construction services overseas for the DoD.
- Knowledge of technical surveillance countermeasures and construction principles.
- Ability to learn the principles of multiple construction disciplines, including Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering.
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
