This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an IT Project Management Analyst who will support government contracting operations supporting USAFE-AFAFRICA/A6’s BlackNet Operations Center (BNOC) by overseeing IT project tracking, financial analysis, and operational coordination. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What you will do
- Reviews status of IT projects and budgets; managers schedules and prepares status reports
- Assesses IT projects and operational issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring IT project progress and for intervention and problem solving with IT project managers, line managers, and clients
- Coordinates installations, Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs), and Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) for BlackNet operating locations across organizations
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing IT projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, network engineering team and line management
- Assist in developing contract required products to include technical directions plans, rough order of magnitude pricing and management of the risk register
- Assists in tracking of BlackNet assets through the operating environment, manages procurement tracking, budgetary impacts and lifecycle requirements
- Additional duties as assigned or required
What we are looking for
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
- Experience supporting complex technical projects and or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD)
- Strong understanding and ability to communicate confidently regarding IT networking and systems technologies
- Strong working knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices, and compliance requirements
- Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with a functionally diverse team
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) to live and work in Germany
- Clearance: Must posses and maintain a TS/SCI clearance; and obtain/maintain additional clearance or accesses required by specific customer requirements
- 4+ years of experience supporting complex technical projects and or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD)
- Project Management Professional or other project management certification
- Familiarity with DOD-specific project management methodologies, process and reporting tools such as MS Projects
- Strong understanding of Air Force headquarters and subordinate unit organization structure
- General understanding of DoD or Air Force procurement, logistics requirements for shipments and lifecycle management
Physical Requirements
Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height.
