Job Description
HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Procurement Manager in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies. Position(s) will be based at global Army training site in Hohenfels, Germany. This position is contingent upon contract award.
- Devises sound cost effective strategies for purchasing materials.
- Maintains relationships with suppliers and continually vets and scouts for additional vendors.
- Evaluates spending operations, seeking ways to improve product quality and enhance timeliness of deliveries.
- Regularly communicates with team to ensure the efficient flow of goods and services affecting performance.
- Conducts cost analyses, setting benchmarks for improvements and develops risk management procedures to mitigate losses in case of product shortages.
- Supervises the purchasing team and works closely with the legal department to ensure favorable contract terms.
- Ensures stringent adherence to procurement guidelines, acquisition best practices, and contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Access and utilize the WISE system to initiate and process purchase requests.
- Their expertise will guarantee compliance, optimal negotiation outcomes, and efficient project management throughout the supply chain and logistics operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance.
