SAP Asset Management Consultant (PM/EAM)

Huzzle Labs is seeking an SAP Plant Maintenance / Enterprise Asset Management consultant to review client business documents and identify the requirements inside them. Much of this material is informal: shop-floor memos, maintenance team notes and as-is process descriptions rather than polished specs. You will extract each distinct requirement with its exact source text and page number, and classify it correctly. Your judgement builds the reference data used to train and evaluate an AI system for S/4HANA implementation work.

This is an expert judgement role focused on careful reading, precise extraction and consistent documentation. Several sample clients are in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify requirements: Read client documents, including informal input, and pinpoint every maintenance requirement, covering breakdown and planned maintenance, work orders, spare parts and safety permits.
• Interpret informal input: Turn shop-floor memos and as-is descriptions into clearly identified requirements without losing the original wording.
• Extract verbatim evidence: Copy each supporting snippet exactly as written, with its page number. No paraphrasing or trimming.
• Deduplicate: Where one requirement is mentioned in several places, record it once and reference the main source.
• Classify and assess: Tag each requirement by process area, type and likely fit or gap against standard S/4HANA PM/EAM functionality.
• Apply guidelines consistently: Follow the annotation guidelines, flag ambiguous cases and help refine the criteria.
• Deliver in batches: Complete a first batch within about two weeks, then continue through the full document set.

Example Assignment

For a plant's maintenance concept and shop-floor memos, you would:

• Read the material and mark each statement that expresses a business need.
• Merge repeated mentions, such as a permit-before-work rule noted in several memos, into one requirement.
• Copy the clearest snippet verbatim and record its page number.
• Tag the requirement (for example, safety permits), assign its type, and note whether standard PM/EAM covers it.
• Flag any unclear or conflicting wording for the project team instead of guessing.

Ideal Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP PM/EAM.
• Working knowledge of breakdown and planned maintenance, work orders, spare parts and safety permits.
• Comfortable working with informal input such as shop-floor memos and as-is descriptions.
• Fluent written English; German is a plus, since several sample clients are DACH.
• Careful and detail-oriented: snippets must be copied verbatim with page numbers, and a requirement mentioned in many places counts as one.
• Available within 2 weeks for a first batch, then ongoing for the full set.
• Nice to have: annotation or QA experience.
