Business Analyst (Requirements Manager)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire requirements management process, including coordination and fine-tuning with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collection, analysis, coordination, and consolidation of the technical requirements with the departments of the users.
• Coordination of the technical requirements and framework conditions with product owners and architects.
• Creation of requirement specifications.
• Creation of solution concepts and rough specifications in response to requirement specifications.
• Definition of the customer’s business processes.
• Modeling, conception, and derivation of overview descriptions (epics).
• Adaptation of the epics into the technical architecture.
• Implementation of the rough and detailed planning of the development cycles in the project (analysis, prioritization, and coordination of the included features with customers and stakeholders).
• Breaking down the epics into detailed descriptions (user stories) in coordination with the product owners.
• Documentation of epics and user stories in the tool environment (e.g., Jira).

Must-have Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, or comparable qualification.
• Alternatively: completed IT/technical or commercial training.
• Professional experience as a requirements manager or in a comparable position.
• Experience in requirements management and requirements analysis.
• Knowledge of software engineering and business process analysis.
• Experience in working with processes and techniques in the areas of software development, databases, interfaces, and modeling.
• Experience in the independent preparation, moderation, and evaluation of requirements workshops with customers.
• Experience with classic and agile development methods (e.g., waterfall, SCRUM, KANBAN, etc.).
• Cross-disciplinary knowledge.
