DevOps Engineer

A large healthcare technology business is looking for a platform specialist to join the team. The role focuses on managing and scaling critical code quality and security scanning infrastructure to support software development across the organisation. You will take ownership of high-availability service delivery and ensure the stability of essential engineering tools.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the end-to-end operation and scaling of central code quality and security scanning platforms.
• Orchestrating containerised infrastructure and ensuring high availability through load balancing and multi-node setups.
• Overseeing backend database management including backup strategies, replication, and performance tuning.
• Integrating security tools into automated CI/CD pipelines and managing secure access through identity management systems.
• Implementing monitoring and observability solutions while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in platform engineering or systems operations with responsibility for business-critical services.
• Strong technical background in managing container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
• Proven expertise in managing relational databases and automated deployment cycles.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, network security, and systems integration.
• Fluency in German and English, with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
