What you'll be doing
- Defining architecture for multiple product lines, balancing technical health with delivery requirements
- Designing scalable and secure solutions across C++, Java, Python, and Kubernetes-based stacks
- Leading modernization initiatives including cloud-native services and AI-integrated architectures
- Coaching engineers and leads while establishing reusable patterns and reference implementations
- Integrating AI agents, workflows, and pipelines into core architectural concepts
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience as an architect for large-scale SaaS or enterprise systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Deep expertise in modern architecture patterns, cloud-native design, and security-by-design
- Proven ability to leverage AI tooling and agentic coding platforms within software engineering
- Fluency in German and English with strong communication and decision-making skills
