An established engineering organisation is looking for an experienced technical architect to join the team. The role involves designing and evolving modern infrastructure and platform solutions while developing sustainable target architectures for a business-critical system landscape. You will work closely with security, operations, and development teams to manage complex solutions throughout their entire lifecycle.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and developing modern hybrid infrastructure and platform solutions
- Analysing existing system landscapes to derive target architectures and technical strategies
- Leading the technical design and conceptualisation of complex infrastructure projects
- Evaluating new technologies and integrating suitable solutions into the existing landscape
- Ensuring security, scalability, and availability are integrated into all architectural planning
What we're looking for
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable technical qualification
- Extensive experience in infrastructure architecture and the design of complex IT landscapes
- Deep knowledge of networking, server systems, storage, and virtualisation technologies
- Proficiency with directory services, authentication protocols, and automation scripting
- Fluency in German and good English language skills
