Cloud Engineer in Zürich

A large technology business is looking for an experienced technical lead to join the team. This role focuses on architecting complex cloud solutions for enterprise customers, spanning large-scale migrations, modernization, and artificial intelligence. You will act as a primary technical advisor, bridging the gap between business objectives and technical delivery to ensure successful outcomes.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and leading technical solution architectures for enterprise cloud migrations and modernizations.
• Acting as a technical subject matter expert during the pre-sales process to define project scopes and outcomes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and achievable.
• Providing strategic guidance on emerging technologies, specifically within artificial intelligence and intelligent commerce.
• Developing reusable technical artifacts and mentoring internal teams to improve organizational delivery standards.

We're looking for

• Extensive experience architecting and implementing scalable cloud solutions within a consulting or professional services environment.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executive stakeholders.
• Deep technical expertise in artificial intelligence architectures and machine learning frameworks.
• Strong background in designing solutions for the retail, consumer goods, or supply chain sectors.
• Professional fluency in both French and English is essential for this role.
