To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our Vehicle Development division an
(Sr.) Engineer for Thermal Management (M/F/D)
You will be responsible for:
- 1D thermal modeling/simulation of PT e-components & sub-systems (including cooling) for N/brand vehicles
- Thermal models validation and refinement through testing in close cooperation with the Test engineers
- Close collaboration with the Team\’s simulation engineers in integrating the developed thermal models into the vehicle simulation environment
- 1D models reduction to ensure Real Time capabilities for DiL/HiL applications
- Close collaboration with the Engineering Design Team to enhance thermal efficiency in electric powertrain systems, supporting mass production and Advanced Prototype vehicle projects
- Virtual Methodology Development focusing on energy & thermal management from State of Art to future technologies
- Experience in 2D (3D) CHT/CFD modeling/simulation for PT e-component/systems is optional
- Close cooperation with HMETC departments and Korean R&D Center (ED, TD, PE/PT) as well as external partners
- Documentation and presentation of project & development results in English language
Who we are looking for:
- Degree in computational, mechanical, electrical, automotive engineering or similar
- Min 3 years of related experience in virtual development in the field of thermal management, preferably with a focus on future high-performance vehicles
- Software competences: Matlab-Simulink, Matlab Simscape, GT suit (GT cool), AVL Cruise, StarCCM+ optional
- Pro-activity & high self-motivation with excellent analytical skills as well as a passion for learning
- Very good understanding of full xEV PE/PT architectures and technologies
- Very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills and openness to work in a multi-national environment
- Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
