(Sr.) IT SECURITY SPECIALIST (M/F/D)

To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our Corporate Infrastructure departmentan

You will be responsible for

• Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining IT security policies, standards and procedures
• Monitor and support security controls across systems, networks and endpoints
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans; support remediation efforts
• Manage access control systems and ensure proper identity and privilege management
• Support compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)
• Install, configure and maintain Windows and Linux servers to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor server health and troubleshoot issues to maintain system stability and availability
• Manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity
• Apply security patches and updates to minimize vulnerabilities across server infrastructure
• Support virtualization environments and collaborate on infrastructure planning and documentation
• Collaborate with HMETC departments and HQ (South Korea) to ensure security requirements are integrated into business processes and IT projects

Who we are looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT infrastructure and policy frameworks
• A very good command of English language, intercultural & communication skills; German is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner
• Preferred: familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST or other security standards
• Certifications such as Security+, CISA or equivalent are a plus
