As Technical Sales Manager, you will take on a central role in the new matrix organization. As the central interface between Key Account Management, Quotation Expert, and the specialist departments, you will manage and coordinate the technical coordination during the inquiry qualification and quotation preparation process. In this role, you work both towards the customer (in particular Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche) and internally (quotation preparation process). You are the sales representative of the technical field and are a central part of acquisitions in close coordination with Key Account Management. In addition, you keep an eye on our competitiveness based on your knowledge of the market, competition, and customers as well as other market and customer requirements and communicate accordingly to internal stakeholders. You will also play a supporting role during the annual sales planning process.

Your Tasks:

  1. Take on the central interface function between Key Account Management, Quotation Expert, and the specialist departments (bidirectional).
  2. Lead the technical and professional coordination in inquiry qualification and quotation preparation.
  3. Be responsible for the technical, professional representation in acquisitions together with Key Account Management.
  4. Assess competitiveness based on your knowledge of the market, competition, and customers.
  5. Be responsible for the analysis, transfer, and implementation of market and customer requirements in the respective area (e.g., plausibility rules).
  6. Provide support with sales planning.

Necessary Skills:

  1. Successfully completed studies and at least three years of experience in relevant areas of responsibility.
  2. Technical knowledge in the field of Automated Driving & ITS.
  3. In-depth technical knowledge in the specialist area for which you are responsible for sales.
  4. Good customer network with OEMs and TIER1.
  5. Consulting expertise and strong sales skills.
  6. Experience in portfolio management and requirements management.
  7. Very good knowledge of German and English (min. C1 level).
