This challenge awaits you:
Vehicles with driver assistance systems and (partially) automated functions dominate the roadscape today. The further development of vehicle automation as part of research, pre-series and series development projects is one of IAV’s major fields of activity. We are an international leader in AD and ADAS. Regardless of the sensor sets used, consisting of LiDAR, radar and cameras, or the vehicle architecture. We drive these topics forward with our ideas on concepts, functions and algorithms. For example, we develop and test camera functions, investigate and optimise image quality aspects for various applications and design image-based perception algorithms. We also invest in tool development both for internal development and for our customers.
Modern vehicles are characterised by a large number of assistance and automated driving functions with complex electronic architectures that increasingly integrate the classic vehicle domains of drive, chassis and comfort for the benefit of the customer. A system-based approach with innovative ideas, methods and tools ensures that complex autonomous systems, including camera functions, are developed with a high level of quality.
The team counts for success with us! In a highly communicative team and in close cooperation, we offer you the opportunity to contribute your personal strengths in the best possible way and to expand into new topics.
