Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining 3D models and assemblies (detailed and assembly designs) with a focus on metal construction, including layouts for special machines
- Derive and create production-ready 2D drawings with tolerances, parts lists and manufacturing documents
- Design of mechanical components (bearings, shafts, gears, guides, hydraulic/pneumatic installations)
- Perform tolerance, strength, and collision tests
- Analyze design tasks and carry out FEM calculations accompanying the design
- Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly and external customers and suppliers to clarify technical issues
- Supporting technical documentation
- Change management, document design changes and maintain version levels as well as maintain master data and trigger orders
- Participation in construction reviews, design FMEAs and project meetings
- Develop prototypes
- occasional business trip to customers for concept clarificationCAD modelling, change and variant design and standard-compliant drawing preparation
- Coordination with internal and external project partners

Your profile
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering or comparable
- At least 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design
- Solid Works knowledge
- Basic knowledge of heating technology and designing and calculating ovens is desirable
- fluent written and spoken German language skills
- English language skills are an advantage
