Are you ready to help shape digital transformation as a consultant (f/m/x) in the healthcare sector and advise various companies on this process?

In the Health & Insurance Cluster, we work in interdisciplinary teams on projects in the insurance and healthcare sectors. Our focus is on statutory (GKV) and private health insurance (PKV). We set new standards for digitalization in the respective industry and support our clients in transforming their services, processes, and customer channels as well as adapting them to the growing demands of users.

Would you like to be part of something big? Then we are looking for you as a full‑time (40 hours per week) “Consultant – Digital Transformation Healthcare (m/f/x)” – ideally in a hybrid working model from our office in Berlin or Düsseldorf.

Your Tasks

  • You develop strategies for digital and structural transformations with a focus on healthcare and insurance companies.
  • You conduct detailed analyses of existing business processes, derive concrete optimisation potential and create business cases and decision templates.
  • You plan, moderate and lead workshops with stakeholders (specialist departments, IT, top management), including C‑level strategy and innovation meetings.
  • You actively and profitably contribute your expertise in market and technology trends in health insurance, life sciences and clinics, helping to design innovative solutions with and for our customers.
  • You design and support transformation initiatives (e.g., digital service/sales models, self‑service, personalisation of patient and insured journeys).
  • You conduct use‑case design for AI agents in the healthcare context by identifying, prioritising and designing agentic AI use cases (e.g., personalised patient communication, next‑best action for treatment/service paths, intelligent service agents, automated benefit decisions).
  • You develop CX metrics, target scenarios, and business cases for measuring customer satisfaction, loyalty and economic impact.
  • You create content‑related offering concepts and business development, mentor junior consultants and actively develop the AI‑driven consulting portfolio.

Your Skills

  • Experience in the healthcare industry is essential – whether through working for a healthcare company, a management consultancy specialising in healthcare or an agency focusing on this sector.
  • Strong understanding of industry‑specific processes, products and business models in German‑speaking countries.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in management consulting, transformation, strategy and/or change management.
  • Experience with CX frameworks and design thinking, as well as in defining KPIs, target scenarios and metrics for customer satisfaction and economic impact.
  • Acquired AI expertise – strategic and/or practical – in the healthcare context and successfully applied it.
  • Degree in economics, digitalisation, management or a comparable field of study.
  • Analytical thinking, structured work approach and ability to present complex issues clearly and convincingly.
  • Strong communication skills, professional demeanour and confident action at all hierarchical levels.
  • Independent, solution‑oriented work with an overview capability even in complex projects.
  • Fluency in German (at least C1) and strong English (at least B2).
