Our culture of evolution and empathy centers on long-term career growth and development opportunities in an environment that embraces your unique skills and experience. /p h3Your role and responsibilities /h3 pAbout the role /p pWe are looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our cybersecurity team and play a key role in shaping and strengthening our security architecture. /p pIn this role, you will define and evolve secure architecture principles, provide security guidance across technology and business initiatives, and ensure that security is embedded into the design of applications, platforms, infrastructure, and digital solutions from the outset. /p pYou will work closely with technology leaders, architects, engineering teams, risk and compliance functions, and business stakeholders to translate security requirements into practical, scalable solutions. /p h3What you will do /h3 ul liDefine and maintain cybersecurity architecture principles, standards, patterns, and reference architectures /li liDesign secure architectures across cloud, on-premises, applications, networks, data, and identity /li liProvide security architecture guidance for major technology projects and transformation initiatives /li liConduct architecture and security reviews, identify risks, and recommend appropriate security controls and mitigations /li liPartner with Enterprise, Solution, and Technical Architects to embed security by design /li liDevelop and promote Zero Trust, identity and access management, network security, data protection, and cloud security capabilities /li liEvaluate new technologies, platforms, and security solutions and assess their security implications /li liSupport threat modelling, risk assessments, and security design decisions /li liEnsure alignment with relevant security policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards /li liContribute to the development and continuous improvement of the organization's cybersecurity strategy /li liCommunicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders /li liAct as a trusted security advisor to senior technology and business leaders /li /ul h3What we offer: /h3 ul liIndividual career path /li liAccess to countless trainings and certification offerings /li liA knowledge sharing culture /li liAn environment where you are actively contributing your ideas /li liThe possibility to work in projects in one of the largest IT companies /li /ul h3Required technical and professional expertise /h3 ul liSignificant experience in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, or a related field /li liStrong understanding of enterprise security architecture and security-by-design principles /li liProven experience designing security solutions across cloud and hybrid environments /li liStrong knowledge of areas such as: /li liIdentity Access Management / IAM /li liNetwork and application security /li liCloud security /li liData protection and encryption /li liEndpoint and infrastructure security /li liSecurity monitoring and incident response /li liZero Trust architecture /li liExperience with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, or SABSA /li liAbility to translate business and technology requirements into pragmatic security architectures /li liStrong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-management skills /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills /li liAbility to influence decisions across teams without relying solely on formal authority /li liExperience working in complex, international, or highly regulated environments is a plus Swiss or EU nationality or valid Swiss work permit. /li liFluent in German and English (written spoken). /li /ul h3Preferred technical and professional experience /h3 pData Security Governance Knowledge: Experience with data security governance frameworks and regulatory requirements is beneficial for developing effective data security strategies and solutions. /p pCloud Security Expertise: Familiarity with cloud security technologies and platforms can enhance the ability to analyze and resolve security incidents in cloud-based environments. /p pCybersecurity Frameworks Understanding: Knowledge of industry-recognized cybersecurity frameworks can inform the development of comprehensive remediation plans and roadmaps. /p pIBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
