Your Role And Responsibilities

Are you a seasoned Java Full Stack Lead ready to tackle real-world challenges in the financial domain? Are you passionate about Agile methodologies, production stability, and secure, scalable software design? Join the IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC) to help design, develop, and lead mission-critical applications for global clients.

• Design, develop, and support secure, scalable enterprise applications using Java, Drools, Spring Boot, SQL, Angular, AngularJS and other web technologies
• Lead incident resolution and provide expert-level production support across financial systems such as Corporate Actions, Security Transfers and AML regulations, Swiss Federal Tax Authority regulations and compliance systems such as FATCA, QI, Common Reporting Standards, Investor Protection and ensuring high availability and compliance
• Apply Agile best practices, serving as a Scrum Master/Agile coach across sprint cycles
• Translate complex business requirements into robust functional and technical solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards across development and support cycles
• Leverage automation and AI tools to accelerate issue triage, prototyping, and development workflows
• Coordinate and individually manage application release planning and cutover activities with minimal risk and business disruption
• Promote secure coding practices and regulatory compliance aligned with global financial regulations
• Contribute to technical documentation, system design standards, regulatory reporting and best practices

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 9+ years of enterprise-level experience in Java Full Stack Development and Maintenance
• Proven experience in private banking
• Strong hands-on skills in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Angular, AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Maven, OpenAPI
• Proficient in SQL and database management (Oracle, MSSQL)
• Expertise with Drools for rules engines
• Expertise with JUnit, Cucumber, Katalon and Selenium for test automation
• Experience using Git, SVN, and ALM tools for version control and DevOps integration
• Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, with Scrum Master certification
• Strong exposure to Ansible, scripting, automation frameworks and experience creating build and release pipelines.
• Experienced in supporting real-time applications in Capital Markets, AML, and Regulatory Reporting domains
• Deep Knowledge of SWIFT, Instant Payments and compliance systems
• Familiarity with secure coding practices, production controls, and incident management
• Ready to provide on call support and extra work efforts during critical hours and release windows
• As lead be able to articulate requirements in TSD and be able to manage task allocation to team members
• As lead be able to help team with their technical and functional queries to ensure smooth project executions
• Manage and coordinate frequent application release activities
• Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams, resolving roadblocks, and promoting a collaborative team culture
• Ability to motivate and mentor team members, and provide regular performance feedback
• Experience supporting business development by identifying solution opportunities and contributing to proposals and technical strategy
• Experience participating in pre-sales, client solutioning, and proposal creation

Required Functional Expertise

• Deep understanding of Corporate Action Events, Security Transfers, Compliance Reporting workflows ,FATCA Regulations, Qualified Intermediary Program, Common Reporting Standards, Mifid Investor protection programs, Swift Payments, Anti Money laundering systems, Credit Monitoring
• Proven ability to individually manage support and delivery across regulated environments in financial services
