Location : Walldorf ( German is not mandatory good to have but) Description: This project is covering the design, development, and maintenance of a robust automation platform named iOps for CX CloudOps, enabling secure, efficient, and reliable cloud operations. The goal of the project is to deliver and maintain a high-performance automation platform that enhances TCO, customer tickets handling, and incident resolution for cloud services. The platform will streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and improve system reliability across CX CloudOps environments. Scope of Task The external contractor takes on the following tasks within the project, which are carried out independently: • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications in alignment with project requirements and industry best practices. • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define and implement software features. • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, optimizing performance and scalability. • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering continuous learning and improvement. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to enhance development processes. • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment. • Develop and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture. Qualifications and Skills (NOTE: It is important to provide the expertise level of the skills (basic/intermediate/advanced) so the supplier can identify suitable candidates more accurately • React knowledge – advanced • Experience in distributed and complex systems, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Test Automation, CI/CD - intermediate • Experience with CDN/Hosting Providers (Cloudflare,Verce,Netlify) - intermediate • Experience with API Gateways, Load Balancers and CDN setup – intermediate • Experience deploying static web sites to the edge - intermediate • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, resource utilization, and cost- efficiency - intermediate • Implement security controls and best practices to ensure data protection and compliancewith industry standards. - intermediate • Collaborate with software engineering teams to define cloud front-end architecture and implement best practices for scalability, performance, and security. • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security practices, and best practices for native cloud architectures. - intermediate • Good knowledge of defining backup and disasters strategies. - intermediate • Positive working attitude, teamwork spirit, and excellent communication skills in English.
