Field Application Engineering Lead - Power

We are searching for a Field Application Engineering (FAE) Lead to join our global Semiconductor client specialising in silicon carbide solutions.

Our client is a fast-growing company now focussing expansion in EMEA. They seek a FAE Lead to lead a small team of Technical Support Engineers, lead demand creation activities and deliver technical support to customers and distribution partners in Europe and America. The role offers a blend of technical and leadership responsibilities in power semiconductors and power supplies, and will involve around 30% travel.

The right candidate for the role of FAE Leadwill have a strong power related technical background, with experience working as a Field Application Engineer within Power semiconductors. Must be familiar with applications in Power supplies, UPS / Inverter (and OBC / EV Charging or Solar Inverter design will be added advantage).

Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany and speak fluent English. German language skills will of course be preferred.
