Senior Photonics Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced PIC Engineer to drive the development of cutting-edge integrated photonics for tunable lasers and next-gen optical systems.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• 5+ years' experience in PIC design (InP, SiPh), simulation (Lumerical, IPKISS, VPI), and validation
• Design and develop active and passive photonic components
• Collaborate across electronics, packaging, and systems teams to refine performance
• Manage foundry interactions and support fabrication, packaging, and testing
• Strong understanding of optical integration, thermal tuning, and laser frequency control
• Familiarity with hybrid integration, high-stability laser systems, and feedback control is a plus
• MSc/PhD in Photonics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
