Iclei Africa

ICLEI Africa is a regional office of ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, an international association of local governments and national and regional local government organizations that have made a commitment to sustainable development. The organization provides technical consulting, training, and information services to build capacity, share knowledge, and support local governments in the implementation of sustainable development at the local level. ICLEI Africa focuses on various areas including climate change adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity, urban resilience, and sustainable urban development. They work closely with cities and local governments across Africa to develop and implement projects that promote sustainability and resilience. The organization also engages in policy advocacy, research, and partnership building to advance sustainable urban development.
