The Product Manager reports to the Director of Global Engineering IoT and will be responsible for driving product strategy, development, and market success within the RFID technology space. This includes collaborating on product roadmaps, conducting market analysis, managing product lifecycles, engaging with customers, and optimizing product performance to achieve business goals and market leadership.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify product opportunities and define product requirements.
  2. Assist in the development of product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and product release planning.
  3. Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations, to drive product development and delivery timelines.
  5. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify market gaps and opportunities for product enhancements.
  6. Develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and market share growth.
  7. Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback, understand use cases, and address product-related inquiries and issues.
  8. Support sales and marketing teams with product training, collateral development, and sales enablement activities.
  9. Monitor product performance, sales metrics, and customer feedback to assess product success and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Collaborate with analytics teams to generate product performance reports, KPIs, and actionable insights for product optimization.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. MBA is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or related roles, with a focus on RFID products (HF, NFC, UHF) as well as BLE products.
  3. Strong understanding of RFID technology principles, applications, and market trends.
  4. Experience in product lifecycle management, including product planning, development, launch, and post-launch support.
  5. Proven track record of driving product strategy, roadmap development, and successful product launches.
  6. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation abilities.
  8. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  9. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools/software.
  10. Fluent English and German knowledge.
  11. Necessary to stay in Sauerlach at least twice per month.
