Clinical Pathologist (German speaking) in Schwyz

pAs a bClinical Pathologist /b the majority of your duties involve, but are not limited to, providing clients with diagnostic evaluation in the area of clinical pathology and providing necessary follow-up consultation. A high level of importance is placed on quality, timeliness, customer service, effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. /ppThis role can be virtual or based in one of our labs in Kornwestheim, Germany or Bäch, Switzerland. /ph3Why This Role Matters /h3pAsk any of our veterinary professionals what their goal is and you will likely hear, “advancing the state of veterinary medicine.” With a strong focus on peer-to-peer education and developing relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry, our veterinary team works closely with our lines of business to ensure world-class products and services for veterinarians and their practices. /ph3In This Role /h3ulliYou are responsible for gross and/or microscopic examination of clinical pathology specimens and preparation of pathology reports in a timely manner. /liliYou will meet caseload and turnaround expectations. /liliYou are responsible for providing telephone consultations to clients. /liliYou consult with and assist other pathologists as needed to promote collegiality. /liliYou will partner with, advise and assist laboratory personnel in proper specimen processing techniques and function as the pathologist on duty. /liliYou promote the growth of IDEXX by actively participating in pathologist meetings and developing and maintaining professional relationships/contact with clients. /liliYou participate in the quality control programs. /liliYou maintain proficiency and develop diagnostic skills through regular continuing education. /liliTime may be provided off of routine diagnostic responsibilities to allow the pathologist to engage in other professional activities as approved by management. Such activities should improve the function or professional reputation of IDEXX. /li /ulh3What You Will Need To Succeed /h3ulliBoard certification in clinical pathology - American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP) preferred. /liliApplications from pathologists with local boards (e.g. FTA für Klinische Laboratoriumsdiagnostik) and board eligible pathologists are also encouraged.
