Key responsibilities:
- SAP Team Leadership: Leads the SAP Logistics team and serves as the functional lead for relevant modules within the SAP system.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensures SAP initiatives align with the IFCO Corporate Applications & Process Roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Resource & Capacity Management: Oversees internal and external SAP consultants, managing team capacity and workload distribution.
- Competency & People Development: Drives team member development, performance objectives, and HR responsibilities including evaluations and development plans.
- Change & Demand Management: Owns SAP Change Requests end-to-end and supports the demand process from early validation to approval.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Aligns SAP requests across support, demand/change processes, and projects with all necessary stakeholders.
- Project Involvement: Acts as subject matter expert or takes on other roles in key SAP-related projects when needed.
- Operational Excellence: Ensures high SAP application performance and stays up to date with technology developments to continuously enhance the SAP landscape.
We expect:
- Educational Background: Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- SAP Logistics Expertise: Several years of hands-on experience in SAP Logistics, ideally as an SAP SD/MM senior consultant.
- Project Implementation Success: Proven track record in SAP Supply Chain Management operations, including successful project rollouts.
- Functional & Operational Depth: Deep understanding of end-to-end logistics processes like order-to-cash, plan to fulfill.
- Leadership Experience: Initial experience in leading global teams or acting in a functional leadership role is considered a strong asset.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to bridge technical solutions with business needs and contribute to process improvements.
- Professional Maturity: Strong customer orientation, solution-driven mindset, and confident in stakeholder communication.
- Language skills: Fluent in English and German, Spanish is a plus.
