Tendering Specialist
About the Role
We are a leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen equipment in Germany. We’re seeking a proactive, results-driven Sales & Tender Specialist with strong knowledge of tender processes and the Gastro/Hospitality sector. You will identify opportunities, manage bids, build relationships with procurement teams, and help our clients equip their kitchens with top-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify tender opportunities in the German gastro/hospitality market.
- Prepare competitive tender responses, specifications, and financing options.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and after-sales teams to develop compelling proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with procurement managers, hotel/restaurant chains, and public sector clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to maximize win probability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and certifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience with tenders and procurement in the Gastro/Hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of German tender processes and procurement regulations.
- Excellent written and spoken German; proficient in English (additional languages a plus).
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into winning proposals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
