Due to this continued growth, we are now looking for a
Project Manager – Development Phase to join our local team in Germany.
About the role
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and driving projects throughout the development phase, working closely with internal teams, public authorities, grid operators, landowners and external partners to ensure projects progress towards
Ready-to-Build (RTB) .
The role combines project management, technical coordination and stakeholder management , requiring a highly organised and proactive professional who is comfortable managing several workstreams simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project development activities through to
Ready-to-Build (RTB) .
- Coordinate site development, land securing, permitting and engagement with local authorities.
- Manage technical engagement with
TSOs/DSOs and grid connection processes.
- Coordinate technical design activities and different project workstreams.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, environmental, legal, permitting, communication and public affairs.
- Build and maintain relationships with municipalities, authorities, landowners and external partners.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones and risks, ensuring that activities progress according to plan.
- Support local management with project coordination, stakeholder management and reporting.
- Candidate Profile
- Engineering or technical background.
- Proven experience in project development and project management , ideally within the energy, infrastructure or data center sectors.
- Good understanding of the energy sector and/or grid connection processes (TSO/DSO) .
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proactive and structured approach, with the ability to manage several workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build relationships with public authorities and external stakeholders.
Based in or willing to relocate to the Wolfsburg, Braunschweig, Salzgitter area or surroundings , as regular on-site presence will be required.
- Fluent German and professional English.
- Availability to travel as required.
Previous experience in data centers, BESS, renewable energy or other energy infrastructure projects , as well as an existing network of local stakeholders, would be considered an advantage.
