Position: (Senior) ERP Finance Consultant / Project Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Ottobrunn, Germany (Full home-office option available within Germany; mandatory 2 monthly office days in Ottobrunn)

Salary Range: €50,000 – €85,000 gross / annum (plus annual performance bonus potential)

About the Role

We serve mid-market enterprises as a trusted technology consultant and digital transformation partner. Our primary focus is boosting operational efficiency through tailored implementations, modernizations, and optimizations of ERP and BI systems.

We are hiring a driven (Senior) ERP Finance Consultant / Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead end-to-end financial system projects. In this high-impact position, you will align financial workflows with technical capabilities, navigating clients through architectural planning, data migration, deployment, and post-implementation enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Drive full lifecycle ERP finance implementations and upgrades for medium-sized enterprise clients.
• Process Analysis & Design: Capture client requirements, map out financial processes, and formulate high-performing target models.
• Solution Architecture: Translate functional requirements into detailed system blueprints alongside client teams and technical developers.
• ERP Configuration: Build and configure core financial components (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing) inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV.
• Data Integration & Testing: Lead data migration streams, oversee integration setup, and execute end-to-end testing cycles.
• Workshops & Training: Conduct interactive discovery workshops, train key users, provide go-live assistance, and secure long-term process adoption.
• Presales & Solutions: Drive presales activities by defining project scope, estimating work effort, authoring proposals, and enhancing proprietary financial products.

Key Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Experience: 5+ years of active experience in ERP finance consulting or project leadership focused on Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of corporate financial management and accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Cost Accounting).
• Technical Integration: Solid hands‑on knowledge in data migration workflows, interface architecture, and full‑scale testing.
• Language Skills: German (minimum C1+ proficiency) with excellent verbal and written expression.
• Soft Skills: Methodical approach, strong client relationship focus, natural empathy, and proactive problem‑solving drive.
• Mobility: Readiness to travel roughly 30% within the DACH region and attend 2 monthly office days in Ottobrunn.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with controlling functionalities, Power BI analytics, or other business applications.
• Experience participating in the construction or refinement of specialized finance add‑ons.
