Core Accountabilities & Duties

  • Strategic Project Governance: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of major road network assets for a key city redevelopment.
  • Urban Flow Optimization: Design and implement practical measures to streamline metropolitan traffic using a structured three-zone movement framework.
  • Client-Side Supervision: Serve as the owner's representative during field operations by directing, monitoring, and validating on-site construction work.
  • Financial & Contractual Auditing: Validate technical engineering invoices in line with HOAI guidelines and manage the allocation and compliance of public grants.
  • Regulatory Clearances: Liaise with public offices to obtain necessary legal permits, environmental sign-offs, and administrative approvals.
  • Progress Tracking & Communication: Map project milestones, monitor expenditures against budgets, and deliver routine performance updates to key decision-makers.

Qualifications & Professional Profile

  • Academic Background: Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Diplom) in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related technical discipline centered on roadway design and traffic operations.
  • Industry Background: At least 5 years of hands‑on experience covering both the design phase and site execution of transit infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Mastery: Firm grasp of relevant engineering standards, regulatory guidelines, and project management systems, alongside a solid understanding of traffic operations.
  • Advantageous Knowledge: Familiarity with or strong interest in sustainable traffic management (UVM) concepts.
  • Linguistic Skills: Business‑fluent or native command of written and spoken German (minimum C1 certification).
  • Interpersonal Attributes: Strong negotiation and communication abilities, high accountability, analytical problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
