Tasks
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to define and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, performant, and reliable backend services and APIs.
- Ensure the security, stability, and performance of our platform by implementing best practices in software development.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive our backend infrastructure forward.
- Work closely together with our founders, CTO and developers.
- Teach your team members best practices and help them grow both on a professional and a personal level.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain a high standard of code quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Rust, Java, or Go.
- Experience working with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and message queues.
- Deep understanding of software development best practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Bias toward action and the ability to work proactively without a top-down to-do list.
