We are looking for a Business Solutions Engineer to support our KVG Backoffice Insourcing – Projects & Configuration / Asset Data Management team (locations in Frankfurt, Leipzig and Munich).

What you will be responsible for
As Business Solutions Engineer you will:

1. Analyze/transfer technical requirements (need for innovation) from business needs (tax law, local gaap IFRS and legal reporting) and assess the possibilities for implementation in SimCorp Dimension (SCD).
2. Coordinate requirements and work closely with the teams involved in the process (business analysis, project management, departments, etc.).
3. Collaborate in projects with a focus on SCD configuration and processes and assume project management for small and medium-sized projects.
4. Further develop the SCD configuration and processes with a focus on configuration (Tax/local gaap/IFRS) including documentation, testing and SCD handover as part of current internal change processes.
5. Further develop the SCD platform technically and business-wise.
6. Support the operating units (customer support, fund accounting, SCD service, annual financial statements,…) with inquiries and as 2-level support in the area of SCD configuration.
7. Take care of the use, introduction and further development of suitable tools to ensure data integrity and to validate the efficient workflow of processes in day-to-day business.
8. Help to advance the Data Quality in and around SCD.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

1. Successfully completed studies and/or bank training.
2. Experience in SimCorp Dimension and a good understanding of the database model (Oracle) are required.
3. Overall understanding of all relevant investment processes (preferably with an understanding of InvStG) in a capital management company (KVG) including the technologies and IT systems used.
4. Knowledge of SQL is desirable.
5. Good English skills.
